We think it MIGHT be spring. But the 8" of snow in Saturday made me think maybe not. So we sit and debate. In the mean time my 5 year old boy decided he was done with training wheels. He took his bike to Ben and told him to take them off. Ben was working on something so he handed some tools to Zach (5 years old) and told him to go at it. And he did great!! He got the training wheels off and then took off riding. He needed a little help from Ben for a minute but then...he was off. He loves it and got really irritated when the snow hit that meant no riding for a few days. Now the snow is melting and we have HUGE piles of mud. Lots and lots of mud!!!
Another sign of spring is baby chicks right? So we decided to usher in spring with our own baby chicks. We've had chickens for years and really like it. We have 2 right now but they are almost 3 which in chicken years means they are probably done laying. We got 4 babies for this year and they're doing great. In case you're wondering they are in a fish tank in our kitchen. It's still tooooooo cold for them to be outside so here they are.
Don't worry soon they'll be outside pecking around the yard. In the mean time they sure are cute!!!

Yeah I keep thinking its spring too but it is supposed to snow in Cedar today. Hopefully you guys stay warm and dry though. I wouldn't wish April snow on anyone
Zach is so cute!(so are the chickens, I guess...in the kitchen? don't they smell?)I love that he took care of the bike on his own!
Wiw! Zach must be related to his grandpa Kent. Kent used to take things apart all the time if left alone.
Congrats to Zach on the biking. Hey, will you all have baby sheep and baby donkeys in the future?
