WOO HOO!!!

Today I go to do my first run on the ambulance. I'm currently in the EMT training class. And I have to say it was a BLAST!!! It was exciting and fun and the scariest 90mph EVER!! It was 90mph for 50 miles!! The patient will be fine and it was a friend of mine and all in all it was fun. I think I like this EMT stuff.

BTW I even got to help and do stuff.

It's never boring here...

So I got a fun new toy. My kids LOVE breakfast sandwiches and I SUCK at trying to make the eggs all nice a round and fit on the biscuit. So I found this!!!



It's a 1 egg frying pan. VERY COOL!!! And here's it in action...

And the final result...PERFECT eggs!!!!


I completely understand that you probably don't care but I think it's way cool!!

And on a different note here's the dog (Flash) and the Cat (Peddibone) in a stand off. What's funny is Flash is playing and Peddibone isn't. Right after the last picture the cat got the dog's nose pretty good. A quick note about the cat's name..that's what happens when you let the 4 year old name him. I'm told it's from Mickey Mouse

Life goes on -

I learned an important lesson today..... no matter what's going on in life, life goes on. Stress, exhaustion, distractions, etc. don't matter. Kids still have to get their Valentines ready for their class.

4 kids + 4 classes = Lots of VALENTINES!!!

Never Fear!!!

For all of you who couldn't sleep last night (because you were worried about my lost iPod) IT HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!
Where? Well that's a little embarrassing, it was in Ben's Truck. We went to EMT class Monday night (the night it got lost) and it must have fallen out of my pocket and down the side of the seat. It spent the night in the frozen car but is no worse for wear. And this has taught me an important lesson...life CAN go on without my iPod........but it wasn't as FUN!!!

Reliance

This is NOT a post about being self reliant and how good it is and all that jazz. No this is how I'm addicted to my iPod and can't live without it and I can't find it!!!!! It has my calendar on it, email, blog, games, music and MY LIFE!!!! I'm kind of freaking out. And that got me thinking that before the iPod I was normal. I could function, get dressed take care of kids and clean a house. Now???? I don't think I could spell my name without my iPod. WAY TOOO RELIANT ON A THING!! Now that I've made this disheartening discovery about myself I've decided............I don't care!! I WANT MY iPOD!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Another post about cleaning

I couldn't help but post again today. I got the dishes done, counters wipes down, microwave cleaned, and living room vacuumed. In the process I pulled the cushions off the couch to vacuum under them. Please note I do this ALL THE TIME. I love to vacuum and I'm a little OCD about seeing things on my floor or in the couch. So please don't judge me but....



This is what I found IN MY COUCH!!! I just did this couch a few weeks ago!!! So needless to say the kids can no longer sit ON the couch!!!

Funny Fact

So I love reading my old blog posts. It's a great way to remember where we've been and what we've done. I'm also looking over old post to avoid doing dishes. THUS THE POINT!!! I've found that many of my posts include a small statement about my disdain for dishes. I laughed when I found yet another one from a year ago. This has taught me some important lessons...
one- I HATE DISHES
two - I feel a need to share with the Internet world that I HATE DISHES
three- I use blogging as a reason to NOT do dishes
four- no matter how long I wait, the dishes will STILL be there when I finally resign myself to the fact that there are dishes
five-I'm trying to come up with more reasons to type to avoid the dishes (I think they multiply in the night)
six-I'm hoping my sister calls me soon to further delay my dish doing
seven- FINE I'll DO THE DANG DISHES

by the way - I HATE DISHES!!!!!
