How time flies-

These past few weeks have been soooo busy. Last week we went to Salt Lake for a cousin's wedding, clothes shopping, food shopping and the obligatory visit to the dentist. Zach and Michaela need to get some cavities fixed so we got that taken care of. Since we've been home we've been getting hay put up for the year for all the animals. Michaela had her quilt she made for 4-H judged (3rd place) and it's now on display at the county fair. Ben and I have been so busy with work. I took the kids with me to the KOA (my summer job) to do Karaoke with the campers. Each one of the kids sang and had a good time. And as you can see from my count down only 30 days until school. I got called today for teacher meetings starting next week already.
We've been so busy with life we've tried to go do fun things too. We went up four wheeling one afternoon, going to the park, and maybe camping this week. I'm excited to have school start again because I love how much my kids love school. They love their teachers and friends. I'm really excited to see how Dani will do with pre-school. So we're getting ready for all of that. Wheww!!! BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!!

FHE Fun!!!

For FHE last night we went to Lyman for dinner and swimming at their rec. center. Lyman is about 50 min. from our house. It was a BLAST!!! The kids of course loved it but even Ben and I had a great time. There are 2 pools - one bigger, deeper one and the a kind of kiddie pool but it was still pretty big. Parents could go in that one and it went from 2 ft to about 4 ft. There was a slide at the 4 ft. end and we spent a lot of time down there. Zach and Dani did SOOOO good they were putting their face in the water and opening their eyes under water to see how many fingers Ben or I held up. Michaela is quite the fish and Jordynn just loved to play. All in all it was a great evening. We didn't get home until 10pm. So this morning at 8:43 AM I'm enjoying silence...still!!!! WOO HOO for late night Family Home Evening!!!!

Fourth of July Fun!!

This past weekend was pretty fun - The 4th we did a few fireworks here at the house but then we ran out of fuel in the lighter and that was the end of that. The nice thing is Ben came home for a while to do fireworks with the kids then he went back out to patrol.
Sunday was Zach's birthday and he wanted to do everything outside on the deck. He got some fun presents and a wormy cake - boys are strange.

Monday Ben's dad came up so we went up in the mountains to enjoy the cooler weather, a picnic and some four-wheeling. It was a nice way to spend a day and just relax. Then we came back home to roast various things over our fire pit. We did hot dogs, marshmallows for Sm'ores, Jiffy Pop popcorn, and even Starbursts - if you haven't tried those you should they are surprisingly GOOD!!!

So that was our busy but fun weekend - and now it's back to the grind. This week Ben is going up to Scout Camp to help out and teach the boys archery. So this summer keeps marching on and is still busy - I hope yours is slow and happy!!!

N0 it's NOT a hickie....

Yesterday we were out with the horses and Aggie - aka stupid horse,

bit me on my back!!! It's right below my left shoulder blade. So what did I do to deserve such a mark??? I was standing next to her and touched her back and she reached around and BIT ME!!! Stupid horse...hey does anyone need a horse??

Negleted events

When I downloaded the pictures off my camera I realized I had birthday pictures that I haven't blogged about. For Michaela and my birthday (same day) we went down to my parents because Ben was also in Sandy for a training all week and that way he could come for a birthday celebration. We also had Grandma and Grandpa Bills over which is always a treat. Grandma gave me Nilla-Waffers for my birthday (I LOVE THOSE) We had a great barbecues and two different cakes and the famous Bills family "Happy Birthday" horrible rendition. GO LEHI HIGH!!!!!

I'm glad I got this blog done because I have to do Zach's after his birthday on Sunday...FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!
